Randburg is an established part of Johannesburg, and many of its houses and townhouse complexes have been standing for decades. Supa Nova has worked across the city for 45 years, and Randburg falls within our 20 km service area from Maryvale. We are electricians and plumbers in one team, and every quotation is free.
Older homes, older systems
Homes of that age can still have original plumbing and wiring. Galvanised pipes corrode from the inside, so falling pressure, rusty water and repeat leaks are common warning signs, as we explain in our guide on why your pipes keep leaking. On the electrical side, older distribution boards may have little or no earth leakage protection, and repeated tripping is a sign that something needs attention. See why your earth leakage keeps tripping. We test the installation first, then recommend the smallest repair that will do the job.
Trees and drains
Mature trees are part of what makes the area pleasant, but roots are a common cause of repeat blockages in older clay and pitch-fibre drains. We clear blockages with high-pressure jetting, and where the same drain keeps blocking we run a CCTV camera through it, so you can see the actual fault before you agree to any repair. Read more on our blocked drains service and in our guide to blocked drains in Johannesburg.

Randburg questions
Is Randburg inside your service area?
Yes. We serve homes and businesses within 20 km of our Maryvale base, and Randburg is inside that area. If your address is near the edge, call us and we will confirm before you book.
Can you work in a townhouse complex?
Yes. Let your managing agent or trustees know we are coming, and tell us about any access or working-hour rules. Faults on shared pipes or the common supply are the body corporate’s responsibility, and we will say so clearly if that is where the problem is.
What will it cost?
Quotations are free and there is no call-out fee. You pay for labour, any parts, and a R400 travelling fee. Our hourly rate is available on request.
