Big homes, more to go wrong
A large house has more rooms, longer pipe runs and often more than one geyser, so there are more places for a fault to start. Older homes may also have wiring and plumbing added in several stages over the years, with old and new work joined together. We inspect the whole installation, explain what we find in plain language, and quote before we start. If you are buying or selling, we can issue electrical and plumbing certificates of compliance.
Gardens, taps and drains
Large gardens mean outside taps, long drain lines and more mature trees, and roots are a common cause of repeat blockages in older drains. A damp or unusually green patch in the garden over the drain line is a warning sign, and a CCTV camera inspection will show exactly what is wrong. Can you inspect an older house before I buy it?
We inspect the electrical and plumbing installations when we issue certificates of compliance, and we will tell you what needs repair before it can be certified. For a full building survey you will need a separate professional.
Do you quote for bigger jobs?
Yes. Quotations are free. For larger jobs we will visit, assess and quote before we start.
What does it cost?
Quotations are free and there is no call-out fee. You pay for labour, any parts, and a R400 travelling fee. Our hourly rate is available on request.
